Anesthesiologist Assistant

Location: New Braunfels, TX

Assignment Length: 6 months

Schedule: Days, 4x10 non-consecutive. Full time

Start: January 2027, as soon as credentialed (approx. 90 days)

The Opportunity Get a full-time schedule in four non-consecutive 10-hour days on this 6-month locum CAA assignment in New Braunfels, Texas, between San Antonio and Austin. You'll step into a manageable medical supervision model with one physician covering four CAAs/CRNAs across five ORs. A strong fit for a CAA who wants a four-day week without giving up case variety.

Position Details

• Case mix: general surgery, ortho, GYN, ENT and cath lab (AFib ablations, TEEs, ICD implants)
• 5 operating rooms; 1 MD supervising 4 CAAs/CRNAs
• Medical supervision model
• Blocks, spinals and epidurals not required, but welcome if you're able
• Cross-credentialing at a San Antonio-area hospital; any shifts there scheduled with advance notice
• EMR: Cerner

What You'll Need

• Active CAA certification (NCCAA)
• Active Texas licensure
• 2+ years of CAA experience
• ACLS and BLS
• Clean malpractice history
