Anesthesiologist

Nuvia Dental Implant Center, a growing dental implant and fixed-prosthesis center, is looking for a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at our new office in Parsippany, NJ**.** We provide implants and full mouth restorations to our patients, literally changing their lives. At Nuvia, our Anesthesiologists are efficient with their time, self motivated and always put the patients safety as the top priority. An ideal candidate has experience with practicing independently and with nasal intubations, however, we are willing to train the right candidate. Our Anesthesiologists are respected leaders in the Center, which has a positive, engaging culture. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work autonomously in partnership with the Oral Surgeon.

This position is full time: Monday-Thursday with occasional Friday
Report at 6:30 - First surgery starting at 7am
1099- contractor

• Predictable schedule 4 day M-TH or 2 day split M/Tue or Weds/Thurs
• No Nights/Weekends/Call/Holidays

• Guaranteed daily rate (whether you work or not)
• Hourly rate: $415 (negotiable)
• Daily rate: $3,320
• Most importantly, you get to be a part of delivering final-caliber implants, next-day (NO TEMPS!!)

Education/Experience/Licensure:

• Board Certified in Anesthesia
• Current state medical license
• Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance.
• Experience with dental anesthesia is helpful

Duties:

• Administer anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting
• Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
• Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
• Stay up to date with evident based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
