Antibody discovery(Director Level)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the internal research team, provide professional scientific guidance, and drive data analysis and decision-making for antibody/ADC projects to ensure efficient project advancement.

• Lead the team in antibody and protein engineering (including humanization, affinity maturation, deimmunization, stability, Fc and cytokine engineering), as well as high-throughput expression, early developability testing and physicochemical characterization.

• Responsible for the design and molecular optimization of bispecific and multispecific antibody formats, ensuring that expression, developability, immunogenicity and PK meet the subsequent development requirements of the project.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Biology and Pharmacology departments to drive projects forward steadily.

• Track cutting-edge technologies in the field and continuously optimize and upgrade the platform (e.g., AI-assisted antibody discovery, novel antibody development).

Required Qualifications

• PhD degree in Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Bioengineering, Immunology or related fields; overseas education or work background is highly preferred.

• At least 10 years of industrial R&D experience in antibody discovery/protein engineering and related fields, with a proven track record of successfully leading projects to PCC and clinical stages.

• Proficient in antibody and protein structure analysis, with extensive practical experience in antibody engineering, including the design and optimization of bispecific and multispecific antibodies.

• Experience in managing teams of more than 30 people; strong ability to adapt quickly and handle comprehensively in a high-pressure and rapidly changing environment.

• High English proficiency with fluent spoken English, capable of conducting professional communication and academic exchanges smoothly.
