What they need
About the role
Assist in ensuring that the electrical installation and system is managed and maintained in such a manner that meets the quality specified as well as safety and health requirements. Assist in ensuring that electrical installations comply with local statutory requirements including Energy Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
Key responsibilities
- Manage, operate and maintain 275kv, 33kv, 11kv and 415V substation, electrical system including all related systems and equipment such as switchgear, transformers and UPS
- Plan preventive, predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on the electrical power system
- Develop contingency plans for major fault and temporary usage of electrical power system
- Conduct monitoring, trending and tracking of daily power consumption at the operation/project site
- Perform daily inspection on the electrical main switch board (LV, HT and Transformer)
- Ensure all electrical works done are documented and filed in an organized manner
- Perform any other works as directed by the management
