AO Chargeman

1. To carry out and support the team in electrical and M&E maintenance and operational matters.
2. To maintain, troubleshoot and upkeep all electrical and M&E services to ensure they are in good working condition at all times.
3. To carry out daily maintenance work orders and submit them to the superior upon completion.
4. To attend to breakdowns involving electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing and other M&E systems.
5. To assist with and carry out hands-on installation, repair and replacement of electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing and M&E components.
6. To assist in maintaining and recording the inventory of maintenance materials and spare parts.
7. To ensure the electrical system, air-conditioning system, plumbing system, toilet accessories and fittings, M&E equipment and ventilation systems are functioning properly and in good condition.
8. To attend to tenants' complaints and electrical/M&E-related issues as and when required.
9. To monitor and carry out routine inspection and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
10. To assist in checking and following up on works carried out by contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and good workmanship.
11. To advise the Supervisor on matters relating to the safety, operation and maintenance of the electrical system.
12. To ensure all electrical works are carried out in accordance with applicable safety requirements and regulations.
13. To carry out other duties and responsibilities as and when requested or instructed by the superior.

Requirements

1. Possess a valid Chargeman AO competency certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
2. Minimum 2–5 years of working experience as a Chargeman, preferably in facilities management, property management or building maintenance.
3. Possess relevant technical qualifications or certificates in electrical/electronic or related fields will be an added advantage.
4. Able to converse in Bahasa Melayu and English.
5. Pleasant personality and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
6. Willing to work on a shift basis.
7. Willing to work overtime or extra hours as and when required by Management.
8. Flexible with working hours and good punctuality.
9. Able to troubleshoot electrical and M&E systems effectively.
10. Good knowledge of electrical safety, maintenance procedures and building M&E systems.
11. Applicants must be willing to work in Mont Kiara.
