AP Accountant

AP Accountant - Contract 1 year (Renewal)

Location: MRT Lumpini

Key Responsibilities

• Support the achievement of the company's vision, business objectives, and finance strategies.
• Perform operational analysis and prepare financial and management reports.
• Coordinate and facilitate the payment forecasting process.
• Act as the primary contact person for payment-related issues and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve them.
• Assist in maintaining sound financial operations and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with Headquarters, local finance teams, customer service, sales teams, and both internal and external auditors as required.
• Support monthly and year-end financial closing activities.
• Coordinate with commercial banks for the issuance, monitoring, renewal, and cancellation of Bank Guarantees (BG) to support business operations.
• Participate in and contribute to ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform tax reconciliation for VAT and Withholding Tax and prepare monthly tax filings, including PP.30, PP.36, PND.3, PND.53, and PND.54.
• Maintain accurate payment documentation and filing records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with working knowledge of SAP.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, hardworking, and able to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience in multinational companies, medical device industries, or supply chain environments will be an advantage.
