AP Analyst

Location: Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León

POSITION PURPOSE

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely vendor payments, and supporting month-end closing activities. This position will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support efficient Accounts Payable processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Process and review vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. • Maintain accurate Accounts Payable records and supporting documentation. • Ensure timely payments to vendors according to established processes and payment terms. • Support month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable. • Partner with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies. • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. • Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives within the Accounts Payable function.

NATURE AND SCOPE

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be part of the Finance team and will have regular interaction with internal departments and external vendors. The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accurate financial information and supporting established accounting processes.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar accounting positions. • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of accounting principles, including IFRS/NIF and US GAAP. • Experience with SAP FI/CO. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. • English proficiency. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. • Continuous improvement and process optimization mindset.
