AP Analyst

About the Opportunity

A growing, established organization in the Houston area is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join its expanding accounting team. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career accounting professional who has hands-on Accounts Payable experience and wants to build a long-term career in accounting rather than remain in a strictly transactional AP role.

Working directly with accounting leadership, you will take ownership of key accounts payable activities, support reconciliations and month-end close, and contribute to improving financial processes as the organization continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and code in the GL
• Assist with payment processing and vendor account maintenance.
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Perform accounts payable subledger reconciliations
• Support month-end close

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant accounts payable or accounting experience.
• NetSuite experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.
