AP/AR Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic AP/AR Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities

• Process and verify accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, coding, approval, and timely payments.
• Manage accounts receivable activities by invoicing customers, tracking payments, and reconciling customer accounts with precision
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure financial data integrity
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions while handling confidential information with discretion
• Conduct account analysis, journal entries, and help month-end closing.
• Utilize spreadsheets and accounting software for data analysis, reporting, and audit preparation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting and finance roles with a focus on accounts payable and receivable management
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles including GAAP, accounting practices preferred
• Experience with accounting systems like Kronos, UltiPro, Ceridian or ADP is advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Excel data and spreadsheet management
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent numeracy skills coupled with strong organizational abilities and customer service orientation

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
