Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Apartment Leasing Agent to join our property management team. Responsibilities

• Greet prospective tenants promptly and professionally, providing detailed information about available apartments and community amenities.
• Conduct property tours, highlighting features and answering questions to foster interest and engagement.
• Manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately using property management software such as Yardi, ensuring all documentation complies with legal standards.
• Screen applicants thoroughly by verifying income, conducting background checks
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, lease agreements, and property maintenance requests through data entry and filing systems.
• Collaborate with the property manager to coordinate move-ins, lease renewals, and tenant retention strategies while upselling additional services or amenities when appropriate.
• Address tenant inquiries via phone or email with excellent phone etiquette and conflict management skills, resolving issues promptly while maintaining positive relationships.

Requirements

• Experience in property leasing not required but helpful. Will train the right candidate.
• Customer service skills a must
• Conflict resolution skills helpful
• Ability to build relationships with tenants and help the complex be an inviting place to live.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
