Apartment Maintenance Technician

Evergreen Maintenance is a growing maintenance company serving multifamily and commercial properties throughout the Seattle area. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Maintenance Technician who takes pride in quality work and wants to grow with a supportive, team-oriented company. • Complete general maintenance repairs at apartment communities and commercial properties throughout the Seattle area.
• Travel between properties as needed to complete work orders and support maintenance operations.
• Perform apartment turns, including painting, cleaning, and make-ready work.
• Maintain curb appeal through landscaping, groundskeeping, and exterior upkeep.
• Diagnose and complete routine plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, carpentry, and other maintenance repairs.
• Complete preventive maintenance and respond to service requests.
• Perform daily property inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate work orders and communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Follow all company policies and applicable safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance, general maintenance, handyman work, or a related trade preferred.
• Painting experience would be wonderful!
• Landscaping or grounds maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using smartphones, mobile apps, and basic computer programs.

Requirements

• Valid Washington driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle required to travel between properties throughout the Seattle area.
• Mileage reimbursement is provided for all business-related travel.
• Must provide your own basic hand tools. Specialty tools and equipment are provided by the company.
• Current automobile insurance.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and safely perform physical work, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Participation in an on-call rotation is required. All hours worked while on-call are paid at double your regular hourly rate.

Pay: $25.25 - $30.25 per hour
