Location: Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, Northridge, Canoga Park, Chatsworth, Encino, and Agoura Hills, Hollywood, Granada Hills.
Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: Pay range based on skills and experience. Having a truck pushes base pay towards higher end.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and professional Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on maintenance experience, with strong plumbing and light electrical skills, and be comfortable working in tenant-occupied units.

Selected applicants will perform a one or two day paid trial period to evaluate their performance and efficiency is prior to job offer.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing repairs: sinks, garbage disposals, toilets, and minor leaks
• Light electrical repairs (the more experience, the better)
• Touch-up painting after drywall repair (no full unit painting required)
• Flooring repairs (laminate, vinyl, or tile — a plus but not required)
• Door repairs, including hanging new doors
• Lock changes and repairs
• Light appliance repairs (major issues are handled by appliance contractors)
• Complete work orders promptly and professionally
• Take photos and document work using property management software (AppFolio)
• Collaborate with management and residents to resolve issues quickly

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–3 years of apartment maintenance or related trade experience
• Strong plumbing skills (required)
• Light electrical knowledge
• Experience with doors, locks, and basic carpentry
• Must be professional and respectful when working in tenant-occupied units
• Must pass background check and submit to drug tests at random basis.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
• Reliable car required; pickup truck strongly preferred
• Smartphone required for work order documentation in AppFolio
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform hands-on repairs as needed
• Willingness to take direction from and collaborate with a licensed general contractor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
