Job Description : We are looking for an experienced API Automation Tester with 7+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing and maintaining automated test scripts for Web, Mobile and API-based applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, API Automation, Cucumber, GitLab CI/CD and JIRA-Xray and should be comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using enterprise automation frameworks.
• Perform API, Web and Mobile application testing.
• Develop automation scripts using Java, Selenium, Cucumber and API testing tools.
• Design and maintain automated regression test suites.
• Perform manual testing when required and create/maintain test cases and test sets.
• Identify functional test cases suitable for automation.
• Create and execute CI/CD jobs using GitLab.
• Integrate automated test execution with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results and report defects using JIRA/Xray.
• Provide automation status and execution reports to Test Leads and Test Managers.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers and other project stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other Automation Engineers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Maintain automation frameworks and ensure quality and reliability of regression testing.
