API Developer (Java/Springboot)

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, cloud-native microservices using Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Build and integrate secure RESTful APIs, ensuring strict adherence to JSON standards and robust header/payload management.
• Implement event-driven consumers using Apache Kafka or Azure Event Hubs, focusing on consumer groups, offset management, and idempotent processing.
• Integrate applications with Azure services, specifically App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Container Instances.
• Manage data persistence using Azure Database for MySQL, optimizing queries, indexing, and transactional integrity.
• Ensure application resiliency by designing fault-tolerant logic with Retry patterns, Circuit Breakers, and Dead Letter Topics (DLT).
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Apply security best practices, including PII masking and authentication patterns via Azure Key Vault and Azure AD.

Key Skills:

• 3 years Backend Development Experience with a strong focus on Java 17/21 and the Spring Boot 3.x ecosystem.
• Messaging (Consumer-Side): Deep hands-on experience with Kafka or Event Hubs messaging patterns.
• Database Integration: Strong proficiency in MySQL (schema design and optimization); Redis experience is a plus but optional.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Practical experience with Microsoft Azure core services and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Containerization: Proficiency in Docker and Docker Compose for local and cloud environments.
• Testing: Strong commitment to TDD/BDD using JUnit 5, Mockito, and integration testing tools.
• DevOps & Tooling: Maven, Azure DevOps.
• Distributed Systems: Ability to debug performance bottlenecks and maintain high-availability services.

Pay: Php60,000.00 - Php100,000.00 per month
