API Developer, Reservoir Management & Forecasting

Job Title : API Developer, Reservoir Management & ForecastingExperience : 6 to 10 YearsLocation : BangaloreRoles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using C#, .NET, and Python.
• Develop and document APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger, following secure API design, validation, error handling, and versioning standards.
• Apply object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns to build scalable and maintainable applications.
• Write unit tests, debug applications, and improve code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Develop and support applications using Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure Redis.
• Work with SQL databases, document databases, and Azure Storage Accounts.
• Monitor, log, and troubleshoot application issues in cloud environments.
• Use approved Generative AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, for code generation, refactoring, documentation, and unit testing.
• Collaborate with product owners, front-end developers, data engineers, and domain specialists to deliver business requirements.
• Follow enterprise engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines, and established development practices.

Requisites

• Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, and Python.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, asynchronous programming, and unit testing.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based application development.
• Knowledge of SQL, document databases, and cloud storage solutions.
• Familiarity with Git, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and application debugging.
• Basic knowledge of Angular or Blazor for UI integration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with containerization concepts and cloud application monitoring.
• Ability to use Generative AI coding tools responsibly while maintaining code quality, security, and compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
