Peak to Creek Precision Staffing is recruiting an API Gateway Engineer on behalf of our client . This opportunity combines hands-on Broadcom Layer7 experience with Java development, Linux scripting, and secure systems integration.

You’ll work alongside software, infrastructure, and security engineers to develop reliable applications, troubleshoot connectivity, and support secure deployments across cloud and container environments.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot API gateway integrations using Broadcom Layer7 .
• Develop and maintain applications and supporting automation using Java and Python.
• Resolve application connectivity, data-routing, and integration issues.
• Write Linux shell scripts to automate operational tasks and support deployments.
• Deploy and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support authentication, certificate management, and secure communications.
• Apply Agile and DevSecOps practices throughout development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate across engineering teams and clearly communicate technical findings.

What You’ll Bring

• Direct, hands-on experience with Broadcom Layer7 API Gateway.
• Java development experience.
• Network programming and systems integration experience.
• Linux administration and shell scripting skills.
• Familiarity with Python, AWS, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
• Experience working within Agile or DevSecOps environments.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Active Top Secret clearance, ability to obtain SCI access, and willingness to undergo a CI polygraph.
