We are looking for an experienced API Integration Designer to join a technical team working on secure, scalable API management solutions using Apigee and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design and manage APIs using Apigee, including proxies, policies and configurations.
• Ensure API security, performance and scalability.
• Integrate APIs with backend systems and external services.
• Define API standards, documentation and governance.
• Troubleshoot issues and support API deployment and monitoring.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Apigee experience.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and API proxy development.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, OAuth 2.0, JWT and mTLS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Good English communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Availability to work Sunday to Thursday .

Nice to Have

• MuleSoft or Kong experience.
• Kubernetes, Docker and microservices knowledge.
• Apigee or Google Cloud certifications.

Contract Details

• Location: 100% remote
• Contract: Freelance
• Working days: Sunday–Thursday
