API / Integration Developer | Remote | Midshift ( Project Based)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced API / Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services. The role involves building APIs, integration services, data exchange flows, and middleware components that enable seamless connectivity between cloud and on-premises applications. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, application teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services using Azure Integration Services.
• Build and support enterprise integrations using Azure API Management, API Center, Logic Apps Standard, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.
• Develop event-driven and message-based integration solutions leveraging Event Grid, Event Hubs, and IoT Hub.
• Create data exchange flows, transformation logic, and middleware components to enable seamless communication across business systems.
• Implement API security controls, authentication, authorization, and governance standards.
• Conduct integration testing, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability of integrations.
• Monitor, analyse, and resolve integration failures, performance issues, and data processing errors.
• Collaborate with application owners, solution architects, and business teams to gather requirements and design integration patterns.
• Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, data mappings, and connectivity diagrams.
• Support CI/CD implementation and deployment automation using Azure DevOps.
• Ensure adherence to organisational security, compliance, and integration standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
