Experience: 10+ years overall, with 5+ years in Apigee/API management

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Apigee/API Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Apigee Edge, Apigee X, and Apigee Hybrid to lead enterprise-scale API modernization and migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end migration of multiple APIs from Apigee Edge to Apigee X across global business units.
• Assess existing API proxies, shared flows, policies, security, dependencies, and integrations.
• Develop migration strategies, roadmaps, testing plans, cutover, and rollback strategies.
• Collaborate with global business units, application owners, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Design API architecture, governance, security, and microservices solutions.
• Work with GCP, Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes/GKE, CI/CD, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and mTLS.

Must-Have Requirements:

• 10+ years of software development, enterprise integration, or API architecture experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Apigee experience.
• Mandatory: Proven hands-on ownership or execution of enterprise-scale Apigee Edge-to-Apigee X migrations involving multiple APIs and global business units.
• Strong experience in GCP, API security, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise API governance.
• Excellent technical leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Important: Candidates with only Apigee development, support, or routine API management experience without actual Edge-to-X migration experience will not be considered.
