Apigee consultant

• As an Apigee Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing API solutions using Apigee Edge
• This role involves collaborating with clients, understanding business requirements, and leveraging your expertise in API management to deliver scalable and secure solutions

Responsibilities:

• API Design and Architecture:Design and architect API solutions using Apigee Edge, considering scalability, security, and performance
• Define API specifications, including endpoints, data formats, and authentication mechanisms
• Apigee Implementation:Implement and configure Apigee Edge for API management, ensuring adherence to best practices
• Develop API proxies, policies, and flows to meet business requirements
• Integration:Integrate Apigee with backend systems, databases, and other enterprise applications
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
• Security and Access Control:Implement security measures, including OAuth, API key management, and encryption
• Define and enforce access controls for APIs to protect sensitive data
• Monitoring and Analytics:Set up monitoring and analytics tools within Apigee to track API performance, usage, and trends
• Analyze data and generate reports to identify areas for optimization and improvement
• Documentation:Create comprehensive documentation for API designs, configurations, and deployment processes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for reference and knowledge transfer
• Client Collaboration:Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and API needs
• Provide consultation on API best practices and solutions to meet client objectives
• Troubleshooting and Support:Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API management, working closely with support teams
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed APIs
• Training:Conduct training sessions for development teams and stakeholders on using and managing Apigee
• Foster knowledge sharing and best practices within the organization
• Continuous Improvement:Stay informed about updates and new features in Apigee
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and innovation
