Appeals Analyst

Our client, a leading health insurance company, is hiring an Appeals Analyst! This is a remote position paying $20-$23/hr.

*This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits and the possibility of extension! *

In this role, you will review health insurance appeals, research claims and coverage issues, and respond to members and providers while making sure all decisions follow required guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Review and investigate health insurance appeals, grievances, and claims disputes
• Research claims, coverage, and policy details to determine appropriate responses
• Prepare written responses and documentation that follow insurance regulations and guidelines
• Monitor deadlines and ensure appeals and grievances are handled accurately and on time

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with health insurance regulations and CMS guidelines
• 3 + years of claims experience appeals and grievance experience
• CPC certification required within 1 year for coding disputes
