Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Appian Developer to design, develop, and implement business applications using the Appian Low-Code Automation Platform. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Appian development, workflow automation, integrations, and application lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain business applications using the Appian platform.
• Build and configure SAIL interfaces, records, reports, sites, process models, and reusable components.
• Develop workflows and business process automation using Appian process models.
• Integrate Appian applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
• Work with relational databases, SQL queries, data modeling, and database integrations.
• Implement business rules, expression rules, constants, CDTs, and decision logic.
• Configure security, user groups, roles, and access permissions.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, and other developers to deliver business requirements.
• Support application deployment across development, testing, and production environments.
• Follow Appian development best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in Appian application development.
• Strong knowledge of Appian SAIL interfaces, process models, records, and expression rules.
• Experience with Appian integrations, web APIs, and connected systems.
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data management.
• Understanding of application security, role-based access control, and performance optimization.
• Experience with debugging, testing, deployment, and application support.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Appian certification, such as Appian Associate Developer or Senior Developer certification.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and integration technologies.
• Experience with enterprise workflow automation and business process management (BPM).
• Experience in banking, financial services, insurance (BFSI), or other enterprise environments is an advantage.
