Appliance Installer

Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Appliance Installer and become a vital part of delivering exceptional service to our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, and demoing a variety of appliances from Refrigerators, Stoves, Micro Hoods, Dishwashers, Grease Shields, and Firestops ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. while you develop your skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems. This position offers an energetic environment where your technical knowledge and customer service skills will shine.

Responsibilities

• Install a appliances including refrigerators, dishwashers, and ovens according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using ladder use, hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices to diagnose problems accurately
• Perform appliance repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
• Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams to facilitate proper installation and troubleshooting procedures
• Operate company vehicles safely while transporting appliances to customer locations and maintain vehicle logs
• Collaborate with customers to explain appliance features, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction with the installation process
• Conduct routine inspections of installed equipment for mechanical or electrical issues that may require further repair or adjustment

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and installation techniques
• Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical diagrams, and plumbing layouts
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other field service equipment safely and effectively
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical work, plumbing connections, and assembly processes
• Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues related to electrical experience or MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
• Experience operating company vehicles responsibly while adhering to safety protocols

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
