Duties

• Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes efficiently.
• Repair or replace faulty components on appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units.
• Install new appliances and ensure proper setup, including electrical connections, plumbing, and mechanical assembly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladder use, and equipment repair techniques to perform maintenance tasks accurately and safely.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to guide repairs and installations with precision.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for field service calls, deliveries, and pickups while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience with appliance repair, service technician roles or related field service positions.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and use ladder logic for troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plumbing techniques, HVAC systems, and electrical work.
• Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), equipment troubleshooting, assembly, and equipment repair tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles; delivery driver experience is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy appliances safely, and perform manual tasks in various environments.
