Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and identify their appliance needs through active listening and engaging conversation.
• Demonstrate appliance features and benefits through product demos, highlighting key selling points to encourage purchases.
• Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling.
• Upsell additional products, accessories, or extended warranties to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished to create an inviting shopping environment.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments, maintaining clear and professional communication.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of store products, merchandising standards, and retail math to support effective selling strategies.

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in appliance or electronics environments.
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to guide team members.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail transactions is essential for smooth daily operations.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise, are vital for building rapport with clients.
• Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, stocking, merchandising, and retail math will enhance your success in this role.
• Basic math skills for handling cash drawers accurately and performing retail calculations confidently are required.

Pay: $55,722.42 - $80,000.00 per year
