Appliance Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, along with excellent customer service skills. As an Appliance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service delivery in the field.

Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other household equipment.
• Perform repairs on various appliances using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand appliance functionality and repair needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in equipment repair or appliance repair is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on electrical systems.
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Previous experience as a field service technician or service technician is advantageous.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel to client locations.
