Appliance Technician

Job Summary: Science Appliance is hiring an Appliance Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial appliances. This role is responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues, completing repairs efficiently, communicating with customers, and maintaining high standards of safety and service quality. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and replace defective appliance components and parts
• Service refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and other appliances
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Use hand tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic devices safely.
• Explain repair findings and service recommendations to customers.
• Maintain accurate service reports, repair records, and parts documentation.
• Order or identify replacement parts as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines, company procedures, and workplace safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or field service experience is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver's license may be required for field service work.
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
