Appliance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in appliance repair and have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve various mechanical and electrical issues. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be interacting with clients in their homes or businesses. The Appliance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
• Read and interpret schematics to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to conduct repairs and maintenance on appliances.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
• Operate a car for transporting tools and equipment to job sites as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various appliance issues effectively.
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems.
• Previous field service experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience as a delivery driver is beneficial for transporting equipment when necessary.
• Basic electrical experience is preferred for diagnosing electrical issues in appliances.
