Responsibilities

• Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and hands-on inspection to identify root causes effectively.
• Repair and service various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers with precision and attention to detail.
• Interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical schematics to troubleshoot complex equipment problems accurately.
• Perform appliance disassembly/reassembly, installation, maintenance, and repairs in customers’ homes or designated work sites.
• Operate vehicle safely for on-site service calls.
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, maintenance tips, and safety procedures to enhance their experience.
• Maintain detailed service records, parts inventory, and documentation for each job performed to ensure quality control and accountability.

Experience

• Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a strong background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to household appliances and sealed system repairs.
• Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems and refrigeration repair techniques is highly desirable.
• Previous work in field service roles that require safe vehicle operation and customer interaction is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, equipment repair, assembly processes, and refrigeration systems enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
