Responsibilities

• Diagnose appliance malfunctions using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
• Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems when applicable
• Disassemble and reassemble appliances with precision, ensuring all parts are correctly installed and functioning
• Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics to identify root causes of issues
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings
• Stay updated on new appliance technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training

Experience

• Proven electrical experience with troubleshooting electrical systems in appliances or HVAC units
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair or related fields
• Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes
• Customer service background demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience assembling appliances or components accurately and efficiently
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
