Duties

• Perform detailed diagnostics on appliances using schematics, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and replace faulty components within appliances, including refrigeration systems, electrical wiring, plumbing connections, and mechanical parts.
• Install new appliances in customers’ homes or commercial settings, ensuring proper setup according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladder use, and assembly techniques to disassemble, repair, or assemble appliances efficiently.
• Conduct routine maintenance and operational checks on appliances to prevent future failures and extend product lifespan.
• Operate company vehicles safely while traveling to customer locations; adhere to all safety protocols during field service activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction with every interaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in appliance repair or a related field such as maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), with a strong understanding of appliance systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical diagrams, and ladder logic used for troubleshooting complex equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to diagnose issues involving refrigeration, electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical components.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, power drills, and other equipment necessary for repairs and installations.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment effectively using diagnostic techniques such as schematics analysis and equipment troubleshooting protocols.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various field service environments.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
