Application Analyst

The Encompass Group is partnering with a well-established healthcare organization to identify an Application Analyst to join its Clinical Applications team in San Antonio, TX.

The Application Analyst will provide hands-on technical and functional support for business applications across Claims, Utilization Management, Referrals, Credentialing, Eligibility, and Provider Management. This individual will troubleshoot system issues, analyze business processes, manage support tickets, perform application configurations, test system updates, and maintain technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot application issues, investigate root causes, and resolve system errors and processing discrepancies.
• Manage support tickets, application maintenance, configurations, and documentation.
• Test system updates, releases, and enhancements to ensure functionality.
• Analyze business processes and requirements to identify application issues and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to resolve issues and support projects.
• Maintain system documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application support, systems analysis, business application analysis, or application configuration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting business applications, managing tickets, testing system changes, and documenting processes.
• Ability to understand business requirements and how applications support operational workflows.
• Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
