Applications Analyst

Location: City of Orange, Orange County, CA

Intratek Computer, Inc. is seeking an experienced Applications Analyst (Associate) to support one of our valued clients in the city of Orange.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on enterprise application support, strong Microsoft SQL skills, business analysis experience, and the ability to independently troubleshoot and support multiple business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and support enterprise business applications, including SaaS and cloud-based systems.
• Utilize Microsoft SQL queries for troubleshooting, data analysis, and reporting.
• Work directly with business users to gather requirements, resolve application issues, and improve workflows.
• Coordinate with software vendors and IT teams on application support, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Manage application incidents and service requests using Freshservice or similar platforms.
• Perform application testing, documentation, and user acceptance testing.
• Support business applications related to employee timekeeping, payroll, government board management, and operational systems.
• Independently investigate issues, recommend solutions, and take ownership of assigned applications.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise business applications, including administration, troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance.
• Strong Microsoft SQL querying skills.
• Experience with SaaS, cloud-based, and vendor-hosted applications.
• Business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with business users, vendors, and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of enterprise application support or business analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Granicus / Legistar – Government agenda management, board meetings, and approval workflows.
• UKG / Kronos – Employee timekeeping, workforce management, and payroll support.
• Experience with Freshservice, Hexagon EAM, or similar enterprise applications.
• Government, public-sector, or transportation industry experience.
• Oracle PL/SQL knowledge is a plus.

Important: Granicus and UKG/Kronos experience is highly desirable but not required. Candidates with strong SQL, enterprise application support, and business analysis skills are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment

• City of Orange, California
• Initial onsite presence required for onboarding and training
• Flexible scheduling may be available
• Hybrid or remote arrangements may be considered after successful onboarding
• Ongoing application support assignment
