Application & Field Service Engineer

About the role

Application & Field Service Engineer role involving installation, training, and commissioning of machine vision inspection equipment at overseas customer sites, as well as on-site after-sales service and remote technical support. You will test and evaluate equipment, compile test data, and present results to customers. You will also be responsible for assembly and setup of wafer defect inspection equipment at the Singapore factory, including hardware and software installation and QC testing.

Key responsibilities

• Installation, training, and commissioning of equipment at overseas customer sites, as well as on-site after-sales service and providing remote technical support
• Test and evaluate the equipment, compile test data, and summarize and evaluate test results
• Present data and results to customers
• Monitor the hardware and software status of the equipment during testing and provide feedback to the team for subsequent upgrades
• Assembly and setup of wafer defect inspection equipment at the Singapore factory, including hardware and software installation and QC testing

About you

• Willing to travel abroad for equipment installation and on-site service
• Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science and Engineering
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Fluent in English and Chinese to effectively communicate with clients in China and globally
• Passionate about problem-solving and adept at identifying root causes and potential solutions
