Application & Service Engineer — Machine Vibration & Reliability

Location: Singapore

Employment: Full-time, permanent

Salary: approximately SGD 4,000 - SGD 4,800 per month, depending on experience

Eligibility: Open to Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, candidates with valid working permits in Singapore

The Role

Join our Singapore team as an Application & Service Engineer, supporting customers with condition monitoring, vibration diagnostics, sensor installation, and practical troubleshooting of rotating equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Install & commission: Set up, wire, calibrate, and commission vibration sensors and condition monitoring systems on motors, pumps, gearboxes, and compressors.
• Diagnose & troubleshoot: Collect and analyse vibration data to identify unbalance, misalignment, and bearing or gear faults.
• Support customers: Explain findings clearly, present reports, and provide basic equipment training.
• Report & recommend: Produce concise service and diagnostic reports with root causes and practical maintenance recommendations.

What You’ll Bring

• Education: ITE, diploma, or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 1–3 years in field service, rotating equipment maintenance, or condition monitoring. Fresh graduates with relevant projects or internships are welcome to apply.
• Vibration knowledge: ISO 18436-2 Category I is preferred; Category II is an advantage. Candidates with basic knowledge and the commitment to become certified will also be considered.
• Technical capability: Confident troubleshooting electrical and mechanical wiring, signal collection, and equipment issues in industrial environments.
• Working style: Clear communication, attention to detail, initiative, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
