About the role

Hydroaxys Sdn Bhd is an environmental technology company specialising in monitoring instrumentation, telemetry, and integrated monitoring solutions for water resources and environmental applications.

We are looking for an Application & Solutions Executive to join our Technical Sales Operations (TSO) team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of technology, problem-solving, customer interaction, and hands-on field activities. You don't need to know everything from day one — we provide structured product and application training to help you build your technical knowledge and confidence.

You will work closely with experienced team members, Managers, and Directors while gaining practical exposure to customers, projects, products, and real-world environmental monitoring applications.

What You'll Do

• Assist in understanding customer requirements and help identify suitable products, applications, and technical solutions.
• Develop a strong understanding of the company's products, technologies, and their applications in environmental and water monitoring.
• Support product demonstrations, technical presentations, client meetings, roadshows, and exhibitions.
• Assist with equipment preparation, setup, testing, commissioning, and basic troubleshooting.
• Participate in client training and provide application and technical support under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Participate in site visits and field activities, including equipment evaluation, field testing, and data collection.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals, product information, presentations, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate and follow up on customer inquiries, technical requirements, quotations, and ongoing opportunities.
• Maintain proper records of customer interactions, activities, and project or opportunity progress.
• Support TSO Managers and Directors in technical sales activities, customer engagement, project coordination, and business execution.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer requirements and technical information are communicated accurately and effectively.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, or other relevant disciplines.
• Candidates from Marine Science, Biology, Aquaculture, Environmental Science, Water Quality, Hydrology, Water Resources Management, Engineering, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are equally welcome.
• Strong interest in technology, environmental monitoring, technical solutions, and customer engagement.
• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and learning how to understand and explain technical products.
• Able to prepare clear reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Proactive, responsible, willing to learn, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel for customer visits, site work, exhibitions, and other assignments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Immediate availability will be an added advantage.
