At Jacobs, we're using digital technology to help solve complex challenges for our clients across a range of industries and as we grow our Perth based Digital Architecture & Software Development team, we're now looking for an Application Developer to support the development of innovative mobile applications.

This role will be primarily based within a client office, working as part of an integrated project team and supporting the delivery of digital solutions that make a real impact. Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms
• Assist with the integration of applications with databases, APIs and enterprise systems
• Develop user-friendly, secure and scalable digital solutions
• Support application deployment, maintenance and ongoing enhancements
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients
• Communicate effectively with project managers regarding priorities, progress and deliverables
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients through effective communication and delivery

Here's what you'll need

• Degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Geospatial Science or a related discipline
• Experience developing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android
• Understanding of application development principles, frameworks and deployment processes
• Exposure to web and desktop application development
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Experience working with GIS or spatial data, exposure to ESRI ArcGIS products and technologies, and an understanding of cloud-based application development and integrations would be advantageous but are not essential
