Application Developer

Responsibilities

• Build & Innovate: Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications and responsive user interfaces using modern HTML, CSS, and backend frameworks.
• Bridge Tech & Business: Partner with internal teams to translate complex business requirements into clear, maintainable technical solutions.
• Integrate & Optimize: Develop backend services, APIs, and databases while continuously improving system performance, security, and maintainability.
• Ensure Quality: Write unit and integration tests, apply secure coding practices, and maintain reliable version control using Git.
• Collaborate & Grow: Participate actively across the full SDLC, troubleshoot operational issues, maintain technical documentation, and recommend modern frameworks to keep our stack fresh.

Requirements

Technical Must-Haves:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in web or software development.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or another core programming language.
• Experience with frameworks like Django, Node.js, or equivalent technologies.
• Strong grasp of relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL), OOP principles, and SQL.
• Familiarity with web application security, session management, authentication, and standard Git workflows.
• Solid understanding of responsive web design (HTML/CSS), automated testing, and basic network diagnostic tools.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

Soft Skills & Languages:

• Analytical mindset with strong root-cause troubleshooting abilities.
• Proactive learner who works seamlessly in a team and independently.
• Bilingual proficiency: Good written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
