Application Developer

Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain in-house software applications that support business and operational needs across the organization. This role is responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from gathering user requirements and delivering solutions to providing user training and ongoing support, while ensuring applications and supporting infrastructure remain secure, reliable, and efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications using the .NET technology stack.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Manage application hosting environments, databases, backups, and basic server administration (IIS and Linux).
• Integrate applications with Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and Microsoft Graph.
• Explore and implement AI technologies to improve applications and automate business processes.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), prepare technical documentation, and provide user training.
• Deliver ongoing application support and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong database skills (SQL Server, MySQL etc.), plus experience hosting applications on IIS and Linux servers, including backup and basic administration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 integration and AI/LLM services (e.g. Microsoft Graph, Copilot, OpenAI APIs) and their practical use in business solutions.
• Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle and version control (e.g. Git).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve technical skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM4,500.00 per month
