Application Developer

Location: Local Candidates Only.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Application Developer to support the configuration, enhancement, testing, and maintenance of a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) application. The selected candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, configure application components, develop enhancements, perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
• Configure application settings, reference tables, and user access permissions.
• Develop and implement application enhancements and change requests.
• Create and maintain scripts and software components.
• Perform software debugging and issue resolution.
• Manage source control and code versioning activities.
• Conduct unit, integration, and application testing.
• Prepare implementation and technical documentation.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot application-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile and traditional software development methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferred fields include Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related disciplines).
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with SQL databases.
• Minimum 2 years of object-oriented programming experience using technologies such as .NET, Java, C#, or VB.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, coding standards, and best practices.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Web Services.
• Familiarity with APIs and system integrations.
• Experience working with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of SQL Stored Procedures.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must successfully pass a background verification process.
