Job Description -

Jackson James is partnered with an award-winning MS Partner who are looking to add an Application Developer to their forward-thinking team.

This hands-on role will require the successful candidate to design, develop and provide support across custom business applications, integrations and cloud solutions built on Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities -

• Develop and enhance bespoke business applications, integrations, and cloud-based solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Design and implement scalable APIs, automation processes, and system integrations that support key business operations.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimisation for live applications, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, development standards, and best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Experience & Skills Required

• Proven experience developing commercial applications using C# and .NET within a Microsoft technology environment.
• Strong understanding of Azure services and cloud-based application development, including integration and serverless technologies.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, alongside working with SQL Server and data-driven applications.
• Knowledge of modern web development technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, with exposure to source control and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and take ownership of technical deliverables.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, or Power BI.
• Experience working with AI-enabled solutions, Microsoft Copilot, or related technologies.
• Knowledge of Python, Databricks, or other data and analytics platforms.
• Previous experience in a consulting, professional services, or customer-facing delivery environment.
