Application Developer

Barefoot Solutions is seeking a motivated Application Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that meet client and business requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with designers, developers, and project stakeholders to deliver reliable and user-friendly software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate requirements into functional features.
• Integrate applications with APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot bugs and improve application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow development standards.
• Support application updates, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of programming languages and application development principles.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and version control systems.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with web or mobile application development frameworks.
• Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and application security.
• Understanding of Agile development and continuous integration practices.
