Job Title: Application Developer III – Java & SQL

Location: Detroit, MI – Hybrid (1 Day/Week Onsite)

Required Skills

• **Java:** Strong hands-on experience with modern Java versions and object-oriented programming.

• **Spring Boot:** Strong experience developing enterprise applications using Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.

• **Spring Batch:** Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting batch-processing applications.

• **SQL:** Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, query optimization, and performance tuning.

• **Stored Procedures:** Strong experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting SQL stored procedures.

• **REST APIs:** Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.

• **Git/GitHub:** Experience with version control, code reviews, and modern development practices.

• **AI Coding Tools:** Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, testing, and debugging.

• **Unit Testing:** Experience with unit testing, debugging, and application troubleshooting.

• **CI/CD:** Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

• **Agile/Scrum:** Experience working in Agile development environments.
