Job Overview

Curotec is seeking an Application Developer to help design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support client and business requirements. The ideal candidate will have practical programming experience, a strong understanding of application development principles, and the ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders.

This role involves building reliable application features, integrating services and databases, resolving technical issues, and contributing to the delivery of secure, scalable digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web and business applications.
• Translate functional requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Develop and integrate APIs, backend services, and database functionality.
• Build and improve application interfaces using appropriate front-end technologies.
• Test application features and troubleshoot software defects.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, version control, and software release activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and support application enhancements.
• Follow established coding standards and software development best practices.

Required Skills

• Experience with application development using one or more programming languages, such as PHP, JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks and libraries.
• Understanding of REST APIs, database management, and application architecture.
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of responsive design, application security, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a development team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing and supporting production applications.
• Familiarity with Laravel, React, Vue.js, Node.js, or comparable technologies.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working on client projects or enterprise software solutions.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
