Application Developer (Java, North Point, over 40K)

Job Duties:

• Liaise with end-users to gather and define functional requirements for new application systems
• Plan and execute system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT
• Collaborate with external vendors on outsourced system development projects
• Provide ongoing application support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for existing systems
• Design, develop, and enhance application programs to meet business needs
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant IT experience
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Java, JavaScript and SQL
• Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Crystal Reports, iReport) or Web Services is a plus
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team
