Application Engineer (AE)

About the role

Are you an experienced Application Engineer with a passion for driving innovation? Jumpwin Technologies Sdn. Bhd., a leading electronics and semiconductor company, is seeking a talented Application Engineer (AE) to join our dynamic team in Cyberjaya, Selangor. As an AE, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge solutions that empower our clients to stay ahead of the curve.

What you'll be doing

• For signal chain components (op-amps, ADC/DAC) and power management devices (DC/DC, LDO), design and complete test PCBs, develop C/Python test programs, and perform PCB debugging. Conduct comprehensive scenario-based testing on chip samples or demo platforms, delivering clear and accurate test reports.
• Lead or support the creation of technical documentation—including specifications, application notes, and test guides—to ensure alignment with customer use cases and industry standards.
• Support customer technical requirements by troubleshooting application issues, assisting in optimising end solutions, and improving overall product integration efficiency.
• Perform initial failure analysis on defective samples, collaborate with R&D teams to identify root causes, produce detailed failure analysis reports, and support product iteration as well as resolution of customer issues.
• Work closely with the sales team to provide per-sales technical support.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Application Engineer in the electronics or semiconductor industry
• Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python, as well as experienced with design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, and other EDA software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Capable of producing clear, well-structured test reports, technical documentation, and failure analysis reports with strong logical reasoning and precise language.
• Proficiency in both Chinese and English is an added advantage.
