Application Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 application support for front to back HK equity and Fixed income trading platforms including OMS/EMS, FIX and ensure system availability in production and DR environment
• Monitoring daily pre-market readiness, order routing, trade execution, EOD processing to ensure high system availability.
• Continued improvement on cyber security and provide operational and technical advice; ensure activities are compliant with company policies and guidelines
• Participate in System Deployment, Project management and vendor management; Assist in design, upgrade, documentation, review, testing, debug for trading applications
• Work on duties assigned by managers, internal departments, and senior management

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or equivalent
• 5 years of relevant working experience in Financial Services Institute or large enterprise
• A proactive team player with strong analytical and problem solving skills; able to work independently and under pressure
• Familiar with trading platforms and systems such as Fidessa, Bloomberg, eBroker, iAsia, TTL, Ayers, Sharp Point, TT etc
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
