About the role
We are seeking a technically strong and customer-focused EBU Engineer to join our Jakarta team. The role involves delivering simulation projects in the electronics domain, providing technical consulting support, and assisting in pre-sales activities related to electronic and electromagnetic applications.
Key responsibilities
- Perform simulation and analysis in Electromagnetic (EM) simulations, Signal Integrity (SI) / Power Integrity (PI), PCB and high-frequency simulations, and electronics thermal management
- Develop and validate simulation models using ANSYS Electronics tools
- Support customers in product development through simulation-driven design optimization
- Provide technical troubleshooting and solution recommendations
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to clients
- Assist sales team in pre-sales discussions, solution demonstrations, and technical proposals
- Conduct customer training sessions and technical workshops
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards
About you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics simulation
- Strong knowledge of electromagnetics, high-frequency design, PCB design fundamentals, and thermal management in electronics
- Hands-on experience with ANSYS HFSS / SIwave / Maxwell / Icepak (preferred)
- Experience with other EM tools (CST, ADS, etc.) – added advantage
- Experiences in ANSYS MotorCAD
- Understanding of EMI/EMC compliance, power electronics simulation, and RF design fundamentals
- Ability to troubleshoot convergence and modelling challenges
- Experience in consulting, R&D, or engineering services preferred
- Exposure to industries such as electronics manufacturing, automotive electronics, telecommunications, or semiconductor is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, good communication and presentation skills, ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly, customer-oriented mindset, fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
