Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Accounting Associate to support core financial operations in a growing consulting and installation organization. This role involves overseeing financial processes and collaborating closely with leadership to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable functions including vendor invoice processing and payment applications.

• Oversee accounts receivable activities such as customer collections and job billing.

• Support project accounting, cost tracking, and financial reporting for active commercial projects.

• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.

• Prepare and post journal entries while assisting with monthly and year-end closing activities under GAAP standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Proficiency in financial reporting and reconciliations.

• Knowledge of GAAP standards for month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Ability to collaborate with project managers and operations teams on financial data.

• Strong attention to detail in financial record-keeping and documentation.
