Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide on-site technical expertise at the spindle to achieve territory sales targets and profitable growth.
• Project Engineering: Prepare detailed part-time studies and machining time calculations for new part models and specialized projects.
• Solution Design: Execute project setups, including tool lists for each machine, and deliver professional technical presentations.
• Testing & Reporting: Perform on-site tooling test cuts and document results in comprehensive, professional reports.
• Customer Optimization: Enhance customer productivity by suggesting innovative products and applying advanced technical knowledge.
• Engagement: Conduct customer training sessions and represent the company at industry trade shows.

Candidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in machining with strong knowledge of cutting tool applications (Drilling, Milling, Turning, and Boring).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CNC Programming and CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, etc.) is essential.
• Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to solve practical problems.
• Software: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
